1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BillReminder ("App", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application, you signify your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Free Plan & Premium Subscriptions

BillReminder offers a Freemium model:

Free Plan: Basic bill tracking, limited budgets (one personal budget), and supported by Google AdMob advertisements.
Premium Subscription: Unlock unlimited bill tracking, advanced analytics, custom notification rules, and remove all advertisements. Payments are processed securely via Apple App Store or Google Play Store (via RevenueCat).

3. Shared Budgets & Liabilities

If you use BillReminder to manage business or shared budgets (e.g., employee salaries, splitting rent), you are solely responsible for the legal validity of those numbers. BillReminder only serves as a tool to log data. We are not a bank, accounting firm, or legal entity responsible for the distribution of real funds or taxes.

4. User Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (Google/Apple login). Although we implement advanced security measures including Biometric Locks (Face ID/Touch ID) within the app, any activity that occurs from your account is your responsibility.

Data is stored securely on Google Firebase Firestore. An active internet connection is occasionally required to sync offline data.

5. Limitation of Liability

We provide BillReminder "as is" without any express or implied warranties. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or performance of the app (e.g., missed bill payments if a push notification is delayed by the OS).

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continuing to use BillReminder following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
